NRFC is working to strengthen and connect grassroots networks and underwrite messaging that consolidates regional efforts into a national rural movement. In this way, NRFC supports systems and policy change as an essential element of changing the dynamics and trends of persistent rural poverty.

NRFC is committed to providing opportunity and resources for sustained dialogue, information sharing, strategy development, agenda building, and advocacy among and between regional networks organizations, and practitioners; and to supporting the development of issue framing that facilitates the consolidation of rural social change agendas into a viable message for mobilization.
