NRFC Announces Natural Demonstration Grant
2007-2008

Five regional initiatives in the United States have been selected to receive major funding from the National Rural Funders Collaborative (NRFC), to build or enhance their regional economies, foster long-term community change, and address the disparities of race, class and power that cause and reinforce persistent rural poverty.

Advanced Practice Institute on Building Assets in Rural Communities –May 1st
Funders gathered at this year’s Council on Foundation Meeting in Seattle will explore how philanthropy can help rural communities and regions build their own assets and will provide a rare chance for funders investing in and concerned about rural communities to share examples of their work.
